In many remote communities, a simple pair of slippers can make a meaningful difference. It can help a child walk to school more comfortably, move more safely through everyday routines, and feel seen by the people around them. That is the spirit behind Tsinelas Tungo sa Pangarap, a community outreach effort centered on one practical act of care: helping children take one more step toward their future.

This initiative was led by Councillor Romualyn Madalipay, a Sangguniang Bayan Member of Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya, with support from Roger Braun and Jonalyn Sebastian, sponsors from Orderna, a point-of-sale system serving businesses across the Philippines. The initiative focused on providing slippers for children in remote barangays, with Pamahalaang Barangay ng Maasin specifically identified as a beneficiary community. Barangay Maasin is a confirmed barangay of the Municipality of Quezon in Nueva Vizcaya.

For Orderna, this initiative reflects a broader belief: community impact should be practical, personal, and rooted in real places. This is what meaningful support often looks like in practice. Not always large or measured in headlines, but responding to a simple need with concrete action.

Tsinelas Tungo sa Pangarap was designed around a simple truth: small essentials matter. In communities where families face distance, uneven roads, limited resources, and daily trade-offs, even basic footwear can become a meaningful form of support. There were around 200 beneficiaries on the day of the distribution. The children served were from remote barangays of Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya. Barangay Maasin is the explicitly identified community in the project brief and a confirmed barangay of the municipality. Official sources from the Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya confirm both the municipality's structure and Barangay Maasin's inclusion within it.
