BIDA Games 2026 in the Philippines and Orderna's Community Impact

BIDA Games 2026 showed what inclusive community sports can achieve when advocacy, organization, and local partnership come together. With 300+ athletes, 500+ attendees, and approximately ₱600,000 in monetary and in-kind support, the event created a space where children and persons with disabilities could compete, be recognized, and be celebrated in front of families, local government representatives, disability advocates, volunteers, and community partners.

Orderna is proud to have helped as an organizer, sponsor, and execution partner. This was not a POS deployment or a product story. It was a people-first collaboration built around inclusion, dignity, and community participation, led by Chairman Nathan Weidmann and Co-Chair Roger Braun.

BIDA Games also fits a broader civic mission. JCI Manila's official 2026 platform emphasizes leadership that creates sustainable community impact, while NCDA's mandate centers on equalization of opportunities and rights-based participation for persons with disabilities. In that context, BIDA Games was more than a one-day sports event. It was a practical expression of inclusion in public life.

Inclusive sports events matter because they change who gets seen, who gets supported, and who gets invited to participate. Too often, disability inclusion is discussed in principle but underfunded in practice. BIDA Games 2026 pushed in the other direction, creating a visible platform for athletes and families, bringing together partner organizations and PDAOs, and giving supporters a concrete way to show up.

NCDA leads advocacy, coordination, and program implementation for a rights-based society for persons with disabilities. Events like BIDA Games translate that policy language into something tangible: a real venue, a real audience, and a real experience of participation.

Orderna's role should be stated clearly and accurately: Orderna helped organize, sponsor, and execute the event. It did not provide POS systems for BIDA Games 2026. That distinction is important because this story is about community partnership, planning support, sponsorship, coordination, and shared execution, not a product deployment.

Orderna did not stand outside the event as a detached logo. It helped bring the event to life alongside organizers and partners under the leadership of Chairman Nathan Weidmann and Co-Chair Roger Braun, with logistics support from Jonas Uy and financial coordination by Anton Mercado.

BIDA Games 2026 was possible because multiple communities worked together. Organizers, PDAOs, disability organizations, sponsors, media partners, volunteers, and host institutions all had visible roles. When families see public institutions, civic organizations, and local businesses supporting an inclusive sports event together, the message is stronger than any single speech: inclusion belongs in the mainstream of community life.

That coalition extended beyond the Philippines. Helios Klinik Kiel, a hospital in Kiel, Germany, donated crutches and knee braces for children with disabilities. Medical equipment shipped all the way from Europe to put directly in the hands of Filipino athletes who needed it. That kind of support, crossing borders with no expectation of visibility, is exactly what makes BIDA Games different. The event earned international recognition not through marketing, but through the work itself.

BIDA Games 2026 proves that inclusive events can attract participation, sponsorship, and local institutional support when they are well-organized and values-driven. For Orderna, that is exactly the right community-impact position: not claiming ownership of a movement, but showing up meaningfully inside one.
